Cerapachys centurio Brown

Brown's description was -
TL 5.6-5.7 mm, HL 1.05-1.10, HW 0.81-0.84
A large, coarsely sculptured, reddish brown species, with the petiole node slightly longer than broad. Head with transverse posterior margin, straight behind, sides only gently convex; anterior face of clypeus lacking a median tooth or carina. Antennae with 12 segments; funiculus segments 2 to 9 broader than long, apical segment about 2/5 length of funiculus and about 2.5 times as long as broad. Foveolae of sculpture relatively small, numerous and crowded, especially on petiole and postpetiole.

Holotype and 2 paratype workers from 15 miles S of Kamituga, Zaïre, at 700 m, 17 August 1957, E S Ross & R E Leech); also 3 paratype workers from 29 km S of Walikale, at 700 m (Ross & Leech).
